Ho pensato fosse interessante una sezione sui viaggi, una specie di travel blog.
Per lavoro tendo a viaggiare molto, potrei certamente scrivere tanto riguardo i monumenti, i paesaggi che ho visto. Ma, ad essere sincero, ho capito subito non fosse una buona idea. Non credo serva l’ennesima persona che mostri la sua vita e i suoi viaggi. Avrei fatto diventare questo blog la mia pagina Instagram (o TikTok). Se non ho i social un motivo ci sarà…
Non parlerò quindi dei monumenti, o dei paesaggi, ma delle sensazioni. Di ciò che ho provato e percepito quando sono stato in un determinato luogo. Ho visitato tante belle città europee e non, per un giorno, o per una settimana, ma nessuna mi ha cambiato come Genova. Per lavoro ho passato circa due mesi in questa città, da fine maggio a metà luglio 2025, e ne sono uscito cambiato. Sintomo di questa rivoluzione interiore è certamente la produttività nella scrittura. Proprio a Genova ho gettato via intere sceneggiature, ma in compenso ho scritto i primi due Graphic Novel della mia trilogia. Naturalmente dietro c’era un lungo lavoro di appunti, dialoghi e tante ricerche che partiva da molti mesi prima, ma, concretamente ho scritto in quei mesi. Come descritto nel frammento A te che stai leggendo Atlante e Harem sono state scritte contemporaneamente tra febbraio e luglio 2025 (questo però considerando la scrittura dalla prima vignetta). In realtà la scrittura reale, quella più ardita, è stata nei miei mesi Genovesi, complice anche la solitudine di quel periodo. È un’inesattezza che ho voluto lasciare in quanto con Amorumò ho sempre avuto la sensazione che ho iniziato a scriverlo molto prima, che ogni lettera che ho scritto nella mia vita mi abbia semplicemente portato alla stesura definitiva di questo Graphic Novel. Un lettore più attento noterà certamente che Atlante e Harem sono parte di Amorumò che è solo il primo volume della trilogia. Ecco, in quei mesi ho scritto anche Musa, il secondo volume. Musa ha una storia molto affascinante in quanto in realtà una prima stesura dell’opera è nata due anni prima, ma, a Genova, ho mantenuto solo lo scheletro dell’originale, creando un Graphic Novel molto diverso e strettamente correlato al primo volume.
Mi rendo conto non abbia parlato affatto di Genova, delle sue bellezze e unicità, ma ecco, non c’è bisogno di molte altre parole, se non di quelle che ho inserito nello stesso Amorumò e scritte il terzo giorno a Genova:
PENSO CHE SCRIVERE LA SCENEGGIATURA IN QUESTA CITTÀ MI POSSA AIUTARE. STO INIZIANDO A PERCEPIRE IL SUO ROMANTICISMO, O FORSE È SOLO IL MIO CHE FA DA FILTRO. GENOVA HA QUALCOSA DI POETICO (FORSE SAREI DOVUTO ANDARE A CAPO), QUALCOSA DI POETICO CHE MI AFFASCINA.
È TERRA DI ARTISTI, CANTAUTORI DALLA PENNA ELEGANTE, DALLA PENNA VERA.

I thought a section on travels would be interesting, a sort of travel blog.
For work I tend to travel a lot, I could certainly write much regarding the monuments, the landscapes I have seen. But, to be honest, I understood immediately it was not a good idea. I do not think the world needs yet another person showing their life and their travels. I would have turned this blog into my Instagram (or TikTok) page. If I do not have social media there must be a reason…
Therefore I will not speak of monuments, or landscapes, but of sensations. Of what I felt and perceived when I was in a specific place. I visited many beautiful European cities and others, for a day, or for a week, but none changed me like Genoa. For work I spent about two months in this city, from the end of May to mid July 2025, and I came out changed. A symptom of this internal revolution is certainly the productivity in writing. Precisely in Genoa I threw away entire screenplays, but in return I wrote the first two Graphic Novels of my trilogy. Naturally behind it there was a long work of notes, dialogues and much research that started many months before, but, concretely I wrote in those months. As described in the fragment To you, the reader Atlante and Harem were written simultaneously between February and July 2025 (this however considering the writing from the first panel). In reality the actual writing, the most daring one, was during my Genoese months, also thanks to the loneliness of that period. It is an inaccuracy that I wanted to keep because with Amorumò I have always had the feeling that I started writing it much earlier, that every letter I wrote in my life simply led me to the final draft of this Graphic Novel. A more attentive reader will certainly notice that Atlante and Harem are part of Amorumò which is only the first volume of the trilogy. Well, in those months I also wrote Musa, the second volume. Musa has a very fascinating story because in reality a first draft of the work was born two years earlier, but, in Genoa, I kept only the skeleton of the original, creating a Graphic Novel very different and strictly related to the first volume.
I realize I have not spoken at all about Genoa, its beauties and uniqueness, but here, there is no need for many other words, if not for those I inserted in Amorumò itself and written on the third day in Genoa:
I THINK THAT WRITING THE SCREENPLAY IN THIS CITY CAN HELP ME. I AM STARTING TO PERCEIVE ITS ROMANTICISM, OR PERHAPS IT IS ONLY MINE ACTING AS A FILTER. GENOA HAS SOMETHING POETIC (PERHAPS I SHOULD HAVE GONE TO THE NEXT LINE), SOMETHING POETIC THAT FASCINATES ME.
IT IS A LAND OF ARTISTS, SONGWRITERS WITH AN ELEGANT PEN, WITH A TRUE PEN.
