Mi interessava scrivere su un argomento divisivo che mi preme affrontare: l’intelligenza artificiale e il suo uso nell’arte.
Come si può notare nelle note sotto ogni mio frammento la traduzione in inglese è fatta con l’ausilio di Gemini. Tutto nasce da un’idea molto chiara e definita: scrivere e rendere accessibile a tutti la mia penna. Non ho mai utilizzato l’AI nella fase creativa della sceneggiatura o di questi frammenti, scrivo sempre e solo con una “Quick-Dry Ink Roller Ball Pen” da 0.5 mm su di un quaderno a righe con la copertina rigida blu. Ci tengo molto alla mia penna e al rumore che fa quando “graffia” il foglio. Si può dire che proprio quei graffi mi calmino e mi ispirino.
È però innegabile che per me l’intelligenza artificiale sia un importante ausilio: la uso per la formattazione, per le immagini, per scrivere le note sulla trasparenza e per l’estratto che appare come introduzione al frammento. La uso per un rapido controllo dei refusi, per le ricerche e più in generale come ausilio al blog.
Posso affermare con fermezza che non influisca in alcun modo sulla creazione. Non posso che rivolgere una provocazione a chi non è d’accordo: tutti i grandi autori del manga hanno assistenti per il disegno, più o meno coinvolti, questo rende forse le loro opere meno grandi?
Lungi da me il fare paragoni con i grandi autori, ma ecco, l’AI è semplicemente un utile assistente (se si sa come usarla, certo).
Sono sempre del parere che demonizzare qualcosa sia sbagliato e che, allo stesso tempo, abbracciarla ciecamente sia altrettanto nocivo.
L’onestà intellettuale deve sempre guidare la strada e se essa passa per l’intelligenza artificiale, chi sono io per bloccarla?
Io scrivo sempre con la mia penna da 0.5 mm, con il mio quaderno blu e con il silenzio attorno a me, rigorosamente, senza nessun dispositivo elettronico acceso.
Poi detto il tutto sulle note del mio telefono, correggo, traduco con l’ausilio di Gemini e faccio una correzione dei refusi con Claude.
Il metodo resta sempre essenziale per me e la creazione è il suo culmine.

I was interested in writing about a divisive topic that I feel the need to address: artificial intelligence and its use in art.
As can be seen in the notes under each of my fragments, the English translation is made with the help of Gemini. Everything stems from a very clear and defined idea: writing and making my pen accessible to everyone. I have never used AI in the creative phase of screenwriting or these fragments; I always and only write with a 0.5 mm “Quick Dry Ink Roller Ball Pen” on a lined notebook with a blue hard cover. I care deeply about my pen and the sound it makes when it “scratches” the paper. One could say that those very scratches calm and inspire me.
It is however undeniable that for me artificial intelligence is an important aid: I use it for formatting, for images, to write notes on transparency, and for the excerpt that appears as an introduction to the fragment. I use it for a quick check of typos, for research, and more generally as an aid to the blog.
I can firmly state that it does not influence creation in any way. I cannot help but pose an important provocation to those who disagree with me: all the great manga authors have drawing assistants, more or less involved, does this perhaps make their works less great?
Far be it from me to make comparisons with great authors, but there it is, AI is simply a useful assistant (if one knows how to use it, of course).
I am always of the opinion that demonizing something is wrong and that, at the same time, embracing it blindly is equally harmful.
Intellectual honesty must always guide the way and if it passes through artificial intelligence, who am I to block it?
I always write with my 0.5 mm pen, with my blue notebook and with silence around me, strictly without any electronic device turned on.
Then I dictate everything into my phone notes, I correct, I translate with the help of Gemini, and I do a typo check with Claude.
The method always remains essential for me and creation is its culmination.
